We’ve had so many wonderful events at , which, if you haven’t heard is being pushed out of their current space in Highland Park and closing on the weekend of March 21. Please come out and support the final community event we are partnering together here one last time!!

Destinie and her team have been the most collaborative, welcoming and easy team to work with and have been our biggest supporters, offering us a space of gathering and always stocking the shop with our stickers, totes, tees, and even being a pickup spot for our self defense kits.

We have hosted 7 markets with them—who remembers our first Community Art Market, or our iconic vintage sale, and most recently ?! Each time we collaborated was genuinely such a beautiful memory of sharing community and connection that changed us forever!! And that is just the very tip of the iceberg on all the amazing things Destinie and the space hosted, from book clubs to food distribution (serving hundreds of folks on thanksgiving day) to community craft days. I don’t think yall understand how important and impactful it is that a Latina owned business was here for us and supported so many different communities and artists, and was the biggest and loudest ally for the trans community.

I know this is not the end for Be Nice Have Fun!! If you can support them in any way or have ideas on a new space for them, PLEASE reach out. Community is everything and let’s support them the way they’ve supported us!! ❤️

ALL proceeds of our I Hate A Neutral A$$ B***H tote bag will go to GoFundMes for individuals affected by 🧊, vendor and worker buyout support and 🏳️‍⚧️ emergency fundraisers for the month of Feb + March! Omg we won a .la award for Mutual Aid 😭🫶🏽 What an epic way to end the busiest year of Trans Defense Fund LA activities! This year, we hosted 9 self defense classes for the community 😱Thank you to , , and .community for making this all possible. We hosted 5 community markets, spotlighting the amazing BIPOC TGNCI small businesses in LA, thanks to for being the best community hub. Also major shout out to and for ongoing support - please check em out!! I can’t believe this year started out so tragically and we are here at the end of it. Looking back, I’m super proud to be a part of such a resilient community in this world and be able to meet and bear witness to so many diverse subcultures within LA who help each other out above everything else. Community is literally all we have ❤️ thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated or donated percentages of their event ticket sales or physical creations to us, none of it goes unnoticed and all of it goes back to community- we will be spending the new year getting more kits out to the community and are always still looking for more orgs and spaces to collaborate with!! 🍎 thank you 2025!!!
