$500 of unrestricted joy and a copy of Brittney Beadle's book, A Peace Of Hope, is going directly to Patrice.

Patrice is from Lehi, UT and has been living with metastatic breast cancer since December 2021. And what brings her joy? In her words:

"Mountains. I've always found peace in the mountains—their beauty reminds me how incredible life is. Now, as I face metastatic breast cancer that is progressing, those moments feel even more precious. I want to spend my time making memories with the people I love, enjoying the beauty around me, and being present for the life I still have." 🏔️

Let's be honest: October can be hard. 💗

For Wren, living with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer for 7 years, Breast Cancer Awareness Month often means a sea of pink, funding going to the wrong places, and companies profiting off the community's suffering. So this year, we're doing things differently.

Through our Be Like Brittney Fund, we're giving $500 a day to a metastatic breast cancer thriver every day of October. 31 days. 31 people. Zero strings attached. After the tremendous losses the MBC community has faced, celebrating those living with metastatic disease is absolutely necessary.

Wren is also expecting a baby 👶💛, a beautiful reminder that life with MBC is still full of hope, love, and joy worth celebrating.
