Making it virtually impossible for child survivors of s*x abuse to file after age 40 is unconscionable when the average age survivors disclose is 52.

California recently lifted the statute of limitations on child s*x abuse lawsuits, leading to many cases against schools. A bill going to Gov. Gavin Newsom would raise the standard for evidence in those lawsuits.

Stand With Survivors is horrified that Jimmy Fallon continues to platform ra**sts, the latest being Conor McGregor. This is patriarchy in action-- men supporting men who engage in violence against women.

Jimmy Fallon is facing backlash after inviting Conor McGregor onto his show.

McGregor was found liable in a civil case brought by Nikita Hand, who said he r**ed her in a Dublin hotel in 2018. Despite this, Fallon welcomed him onto national television and treated him like any other celebrity guest. They even joked about the time they hung out drinking and have said they will do it again.

People are outraged and even called Fallon “pathetic” and “spineless” for hosting an abuser and a ra**st.

Giving celebrity treatment to a ra**st is disgusting and fu**ed up. Survivors deserve better than seeing powerful men celebrated on national television as if nothing happened.

Our "justice" system offers little justice for survivors. Cosby is out of prison, despite 64 allegations of s*xual violence. Diddy got a slap on the wrist for years of sustained abuse. Weinstein has received light sentences and now a mistrial, despite over 100 allegations of r**e and s*xual assault.

R**e trials are notorious for putting survivors on trial-- assassinating their character, tapping into r**e myths. It's no wonder that less than 2% of ra**sts will ever see a single day inside a jail cell.
