SCBWI BookStop is the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators’ annual online book promotion designed to help members showcase and sell their books directly to readers, parents, educators, and librarians. This powerful marketing opportunity increases visibility for both traditionally published and self-published children’s books, giving them exposure to a wide audience of book buyers.

Starting September 22, you can purchase and create a page for your book. Log in to the website, click the Member Home button, then click the BookStop banner to start creating your page.

SCBWI BookStop is open to the public to purchase books starting Tuesday, October 13 through Monday, November 30.

Another SCBWI University series starts tomorrow! It's called "The Journey of The Picture Book"

Learn from top professionals how to make your picture book the best it can be. Practical tips and insights into your craft.

Our first session is tomorrow at 1PM PST and is called "Letting Your Stories Flow: Tips for Generating New Story Ideas with JaNay Brown-Wood"

Inspiration for story can emerge from a variety of sources and finding kernels of ideas that are molded into compelling stories is something writers do best! But what do you do when you cannot think of what to write next? How do you proceed when your ideas stop flowing? This workshop will introduce ways to find story ideas that can be refined into compelling and emotionally resonant books for children.
