🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP SAVING LIVES 🚨

Running a rescue means never wanting to say "no" to an animal in need. But right now, our bank account is telling us we have to.

We take in dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, or are at risk of euthanasia. We provide them with veterinary care, safe transport, food, and unconditional love until they find their forever homes or are transferred to a rescue partner. But love doesn’t pay the vet bills, buy the food, keep the electric on, or transport vans running.

We are facing an incredibly tight financial stretch, and we cannot do this alone. If you have ever adopted from us, cheered us on, or shared our posts, we need you now.

We know that you guys just helped us with bags of food and we appreciate it SO much. The cost of simple overhead and gas is killing us. We need help to keep the lights on, the AC running, and be able to travel to the rescue daily (if not twice a day). We need to be able to transport dogs who can go to one of our northern rescue partners.

We are dedicated to helping animals in need. We are mostly foster based and provide medical care to an animal before adopting them out to an approved home or sending them to one of our trusted rescue partners up north.

We need fosters in order to help more dogs in need!!!! We supply all of the food, toys, collars, leashes, and medical!! You just need to supply the love!!

We have certain dogs who need help with socialization due to me keeping the rescue open after I shattered the bones in my leg. I had some wonderful help right after I broke my leg but it wasn't a long-term solution because these awesome people have their own lives.

So, up until recently, I couldn't physically socialize them safely. Yes, the fracture was that bad .... I needed a total of 3 surgeries. Yes, it took me a long time to heal and I'm still not 100%.

I know people have questioned why it has taken me so long to heal and they didn't believe it. Sorry I have MS and Diabetes which prohibits healing. Sorry the doctors screwed up and put failing hardware in my leg then cleared me to walk at which point I almost lost the leg, causing me to have yet another surgery. So, believe me, don't believe me. Not my problem to explain my private details to anyone.

If we could even find fosters for Mama P's 2 pups, Romeo and Brady, who are the only ones who weren't adopted right after they were born 2 years ago, that would be huge!! It would also open me up to be able to take on some more medical cases. Romeo and Brady are happy, playful pups who just need a little structure. They are crate trained and almost potty trained. They're fully vetted including, neuter, vaccines, dewormer, microchipped.

Hey guys! We are down to our last bag of dog food again!! We need your help!! Funds are so extremely tight right now and we can't do it alone. Our Amazon wishlist is below.

We need both Pedigree and Purina dry food (we have certain dogs on one or the other due to allergies) as well as the rockin green laundry detergent, gloves, magic erasers, paper towels, and either odoban or kennelsol. If you can send an item or two, we would appreciate it SO much!! Please share this post!! This is truly what will keep the rescue open. It's that urgent.

We also need to order more vaccines and microchips. If you would like to contribute to that, we have Venmo and PayPal. The info is below. Ok, so we don't frequently raise money like most every other rescue does. Not saying it's wrong. I just don't have the time to stop and post many times because it's just me. I don't have a staff or network of volunteers.

However, we desperately need funds to be able to keep up with overhead (since we do have a physical location), vet bills, vaccines and med cost, microchip costs, etc...

Did you know that we offer boarding?? Our daily fee is $15/day if you supply food, or $20/day if we supply the food. We supply all other toys and treats. We send owners (or other rescues) daily updates. We have playtime during the day where we crate and rotate the dogs who get along. Then everyone is kenneled overnight for safety. If someone needs to go out alone, that's fine too. Every dog must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines.

If you don't need a dog boarded right now but want to help us a little, please consider donating even $5. Everything helps!!

Welcome Einstein and Eos to the Inn!! They will be staying with us for the next few weeks before heading north to their respective rescues. While they are here, we get to know them outside of the shelter environment and are able to do further behavior assessments to help line up the best environment.
