I have a girl in need of a home , her daddy was killed in a car accident.we took her in. She recently has been spayed and UTD on shots . She 3-5 yrs old. Very friendly with people and dogs. She needs a younger family to love her for the rest of her life.

Ok guys, we desperately need your help to keep the electric on at the Inn this month!!! I have included the bill so you can see that there isn't a past balance or anything. The charge of $275 is for the past month. It's been the hottest month on record here and unfortunately, it shows in the electric bill.

This is solely keeping the AC units on for the dogs' comfort, washing and drying linens, keeping the lights and fans on, and powering the cameras (the Internet is a totally separate expense 😩). I have been doing my best to shut things off when not in use, not doing any drying during peak hours, and keeping the temperature set higher. But I need your help.

Please donate. Please share. Any amount helps. We don't ask for money often, but I just can't swing it alone this month.

This poor mama dog showed up at our door last weekend. When we approached, she smiled (it looks like she is showing teeth in an aggressive way but she's so sweet). She's not chipped and AC has no room to take her in. So, despite being full ourselves, we made room so she wouldn't be outside in this heat.

Here's where you come in.... We need help with getting her the proper vetting so she can find her forever home. This includes spay, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, etc.

We've started her on flea/tick prevention and antibiotics to treat some cuts and scrapes. But we need your help to get this girl the medical help she needs.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗧. 🐾

Ernest was at Horry County Animal Care Center
and as you can see, he was in pretty rough shape.

But Ernest is one of the lucky ones.

SE Coast SC Rescue Collaboration networked this sweet guy and a fantastic rescue stepped up for him -
But before his transport out of SC , the rescue wants him out of the shelter. So FOCA has sponsored Ernest’s boarding fees— and 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, Ernest will be cared for in a clean, safe environment.

He will get medicated baths, good food, love, comfort, and the care he needs until he is ready for transport and the new life waiting for him.

This guy came to stay with us today. He has a wonderful rescue waiting for him up north. However, to keep up with regulations, dogs have to quarantine for a few weeks outside of the shelter before heading north.

We get to know these dogs, address any medical or behavioral issues, assess what their ideal environment is to help properly place them once they get to their rescue, and more.

This poor guy is now named Ernest and is enjoying the quiet outside of the shelter. We're letting him decompress so he can feel safe. We are giving him a medicated bath tomorrow and he got started on antibiotics. As you can see, his skin is pretty bad.

We're doing everything we can to keep him comfortable while he is with us. He will be going to Freedom First Rescue next month. We can't wait to get to know Sir Ernest. 🩵🐾
