Registration is filling up fast for SCCA-NNJR's 1st TSD Rally of the Year. A great way to practice prior to NNJR-PCA's Welcome to the Club rally on May 17th and the Porsche Parade TSD rally on June 16th in Lake Placid.

Time to start thinking about the 2026 Posche Parade. Joanne Schneider and Peter Schneider put together the TSD rally which will be conducted on June 14th. The rally will take you around the scenic twisty and narrow paved roads of the Adirondack Mountains and up and over the back side of Whiteface Mountain. The event will take about three and a half hours to drive, including a rest break at a small museum. The object is to follow the course and match the assigned speeds (never over the speed limit), you will be scored to the second by passing checkpoints along the way. We will even tell you where some of the checkpoints are and your perfect ‘arrival time’ so you can get a feel for the event, so by last part of the rally you will be able to ‘run on-time all the time’ and have the confidence to get ‘good scores’. This year’s event will be straight forward with no tricks or traps, and mileage to every instruction, great for a first timer. We will have over two dozen scoring opportunities to test your skills and keep the experienced teams alert and on their toes. Who knows, you might even see a Moose or two along the way. The 2026 event will be dedicated to Ted and Nancy Ohland and the route utilizes some of the same roads he used in 1994.

Yesterday November 16th, NNJR-PCA hosted the Pine Barren Off-Road Excursion Trek sponsored by Paul Miller Porsche. The following photos were taken by Mike Feno at the event. 154 individuals and 67 vehicles signed up for the event.

With three weeks to go, the November 16th Pine Barren Off-Road Excursion registration has been closed. We have hit our seating capacity at the Starting/Ending location. We tried to keep the cap at 60 vehicles, but it looks like we will have 66 hit the sand trails of South Jersey.
