💛 ThankYouThursday 💛

A heartfelt thank you to Vistas for Children for more than 20 years of generous support helping PPV turn possibilities into achievements for children with visual impairment and their families.

Because of grants from Vistas for Children, hundreds of children have gained greater independence through pediatric eye exams, low vision devices, educational support, and family well-being services. Your commitment continues to make a life-changing impact on the lives of the families we serve.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership and dedication to empowering children to thrive. 💙✨

First graders at John Thomas Dye School stepped into the world of children with visual impairment during our 19th Annual Low Vision Awareness Experience.

Through hands-on activity stations, simulation glasses, assistive technology, Braille activities, mobility cane practice, and a special guide dog visit, students learned how children with low vision adapt, thrive, and navigate the world with confidence. Each experience encouraged empathy, inclusion, and understanding in a meaningful and memorable way.

We are incredibly grateful to the John Thomas Dye School community for continuing this long-standing tradition of disability awareness and for their generous $1,500 donation supporting glasses, low vision devices, and vital services for children and families in need.

Donations are always needed and appreciated. Together, we are opening eyes, expanding hearts, and keeping kids in sight.

Thank you to Children’s Eye Institute in Upland for referring Oliver and his family to PPV for vision education and support services. Oliver received an armful of toys thanks to Mattel Children’s Foundation, SENSEE and Keith Christian who donate toys and learning materials with visual impairment in mind.

Thanks to our partners in the community like Children’s Eye Institute in Upland, children like Oliver who has retinal dystrophy, and their families are part of PPV programs until their child turns 18.

🌟 May the 4th Be With You… and with every child on their vision journey 🌟

During the 2024 LA Vision Walk, our young hero Easton showed us what true strength looks like navigating the world with courage, determination, and a whole lot of heart!

With a little help from the Force (and his trusty cane), he reminds us that vision is more than sight; it’s confidence, independence, and possibility.

This , we celebrate all of our incredible kids who continue to inspire us every day. 💙
