Are you raising a child with visual impairment and looking for guidance, connection, and support? Join our FREE 10-Week Family Curriculum for Navigating Visual Impairment, designed for parents, caregivers, and families of children ages 0–18.
Led by Joseph Burton, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Executive Director and Clinical Director of Hearts For Sight Foundation, where he leads innovative mental health and outdoor wellness programs for the blind and visually impaired community. With over a decade of experience, Joseph specializes in culturally competent therapy, integrating approaches like CBT and eco-therapy to address grief, adjustment to vision loss, and trauma. Passionate about expanding access to care, he develops programs that empower individuals through community, nature, and clinical support, while also training the next generation of visually impaired mental health professionals. This powerful series will explore topics such as understanding vision loss, fostering independence, advocacy, resilience, sibling dynamics, and more.
