We persevered through wind, rain, and cold. Despite the weather, we experienced a slight delay. We are deeply grateful to every individual who bravely joined us, defying the gloomy conditions. We exceeded our goal of 400, with a remarkable total of 429 participants! Each year we have demonstrated remarkable growth. Thank you again to everyone who contributed to this year's triumphant 3rd annual Dash. We eagerly look forward to seeing you again next year, October 18, 2026.

Just a reminder that we are at the London Laurel County Farmers today until 5 pm doing packet pickup for the 3rd Annual Dash For A Cure 5K / 1 Mile Fun Walk / Kids Dash. We also have lots of items that we are selling raffle tickets for.

I've been checking the weather almost hourly, and I'm sure many of you have been doing the same. I'm hoping for sunny skies and praying for no rain during the event. We've been incredibly fortunate to have perfect weather the past two years. Then I thought, wouldn't any of these brave ladies have welcomed just a cloudy day instead of being told they have breast cancer? They've faced chemo, radiation, hair loss, mastectomy, nausea, hurt, pain, and sadness. So let's remember what tomorrow is really all about: support, remembrance, and hope. Come rain or shine, let's come together to uplift all those affected by this disease. Together, we can make a profound difference.
