What a FUN way to wrap up the school year! ☀️💦

Legacy Academy had an eventful week that ended with one of our favorite traditions — Water Day! Students and teachers enjoyed a well-deserved day of games, slides, soap, water, laughter, and unforgettable memories after a year of hard work and dedication.

Some of the highlights included Ms. Gilmore’s grilled hot dogs with all the toppings, the Lockesburg Volunteer Fire Department providing a giant shower of water, an epic water balloon fight, and the exciting announcement of the Health Challenge winner!

At Legacy, we believe in working hard and playing hard, and Water Day was the perfect celebration of another incredible school year and the amazing community God has blessed us with.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23-24 ❤️💙

What a special evening celebrating the students of Legacy Academy at this year’s Honor & Awards Ceremony!

From recognizing academic achievement and leadership to celebrating diligence, growth, and Christlike character, the night was filled with meaningful moments and grateful reflection. We were also excited to celebrate our kindergarten students as they were officially promoted into 1st grade!

One of the most memorable parts of the evening was the choir’s beautiful presentation of “Is He Worthy?” accompanied by senior James Bartek. It served as a powerful reminder that while we honor the hard work and accomplishments of our students, all honor ultimately belongs to the Lord who has faithfully sustained us throughout this school year.

We are so thankful for our students, families, faculty, and staff who make Legacy Academy such a special community. Congratulations to all of our students on a wonderful year!

Legacy Academy recently enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating our athletes at this year’s Athletic Banquet!

The night was filled with fellowship, laughter, memories, and recognition as we reflected on an incredible year of athletics at Legacy. We are so proud of our student athletes for the hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and Christ-like character they displayed both on and off the court and field.

Athletics at Legacy is about so much more than wins and losses — it’s about growth, leadership, discipline, relationships, and using our gifts to glorify God. We are thankful for the ways our students represented the school, and for the impact our coaches, families, and supporters had throughout the season.

Most of all, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness, protection, and blessings over every team and athlete this year.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the banquet such a special evening!

Class of 2026 Graduation – A Night to Remember 🎓

Legacy Academy celebrated the Class of 2026 on the evening of May 21 with a meaningful commencement ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and our school community. It was a special time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration as we honored these students and all they have accomplished.

We are especially grateful for the leadership and example set by our graduates. Each has contributed in unique ways to the life of our school—through athletics, leadership, academics, and the relationships they’ve built along the way.

We are proud of the entire Class of 2026 and excited to see how each graduate will continue to grow and serve in the years ahead.

Congratulations, graduates! 🎉

Lower-Level had a blast at Grandview Prairie on May 18! 🌾🎣🦉

Students began the day fishing and wrapped it up by meeting Teddy the owl! Throughout the day, K–6th grade students explored the beautiful prairie ecosystem of Southwest Arkansas through a guided nature hike. Grandview Prairie is one of the few remaining native prairies in Arkansas and is home to unique grasses, wildflowers, wildlife, and plant species that are rarely found elsewhere in the state.

During the hike, students learned to identify poisonous and nonpoisonous plants, including several with medicinal uses. After lunch, they were introduced to an alligator and several species of snakes while learning about the important role these animals play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.

It was a wonderful day of hands-on learning, exploration, and appreciation for God’s creation!
