Livingston Business Improvement District The Livingston Business Improvement District enhances the vitality of downtown Livingston through promotion, maintenance and support of special events.

The Livingston Business Improvement District (LBID) enhances the vitality of downtown Livingston by facilitating commerce, enhancing streetscapes, conducting maintenance and improving security and safety. The LBID is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees and receives its funding through an assessment of the property owners (rate payers) in the District. The LBID is defined by Park Street to

Geyser Street and from Third Street to the alley between B and C Streets. The district also includes properties just south of Geyser Street and properties to the west of Third Street between Park and Callender Streets. The unofficial count of commercial properties within the district is 131.

The Danforth Museum of Art presents: ‘This Land of Clay: Ceramics grounded in the landscape of the West’

‘This Land of Clay’ explores the human relationships with place, landscape and the land beneath our feet. Along with a history of ceramics in Montana through the work of Frances Senska and Peter Voulkous, the eleven featured contemporary Montana artists expand the boundaries of traditional clay work through abstraction, alternative processes, and conceptual creativity.

The DMA will host an opening reception for ‘This Land of Clay’ Friday June 26, 5:30–8:00 PM during the first Livingston Art Walk of 2026.
