Long after headlines fade, many families are still working to rebuild their homes and their sense of normalcy following last year’s flooding in Western Maryland. ❤️

Through ongoing partnerships, local leadership, and support from UMCOR, churches and volunteers continue walking alongside neighbors as repairs, heating restoration, and long-term recovery efforts move forward.

When no warming center was available, FUMC Oneonta, NY quickly opened its doors as a 24/7 community space - offering food, hot drinks, clothing, and a safe place to sleep.

A water main break on Culver Road released two million gallons of water early Tuesday, flooding basements and leaving residents grappling with the aftermath.

Look at this great team from Rush United Methodist Church, Skaneateles United Methodist Church, Marcellus United Methodist Church, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and Victor First United Methodist Church !

They came together and finished all requests for help they had from the residents affected by the water main break in Rochester.
