❤️🖤💚 Honoring Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the strength of Black communities. Juneteenth is not only a time for reflection on our nation’s history, but also an opportunity to acknowledge the importance of equity, inclusion, and access to care, including mental health care.

Black communities often face unique barriers when it comes to mental health support, including stigma, systemic challenges, and limited access to culturally responsive care. By continuing conversations about mental health and su***de prevention, we can help create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

At the AFSP Greater Central New York Chapter, we remain committed to promoting awareness, education, and resources that support mental health for all communities. Let today be a reminder that healing, connection, and hope are essential parts of building a stronger future together. ❤️🖤💚
