8th-12th graders:

The window for applying for financial assistance to the Gathering is coming to a close. If you are interested in attending and feel there is more assistance needed than the fundraising we will do, please reach out to Katie in the church office before Friday. We will submit the request, and get a decision before registration opens.

This crew had fun at Wicked Woods last night! Thank you for joining and thank you to the adults that helped drive and chaperone.

Stay tuned for the next Soul Squad event!

Attention 6th-12th graders:

All things October for Soul Squad and confirmation! A few things to highlight-

If you are planning to join for Wicked Woods, we need to know by the end of the day tomorrow! We need 15 to get the discounted price of $20, and need to ensure enough adult drivers. This is always a highlight. Please consider joining in the fun.

If you are at all interested in National Youth Gathering, and in need of financial support, please let me know. Individuals can get up to $275 credit to their account, but I need to turn in the financial assistance request by the 16th.

All Youth Gathering at Craguns - registration forms are at the church. Please sign up by October 21 at the latest so we can register our group!

We had a great first day of Sunday School yesterday! You could hear the learning and fun echoing into the hallway of the education corridor. Our three year olds and 3rd graders also received their Bibles in worship. If you were unable to attend, please reach out to get your Bible.

The Sunday School calendar was mailed out at the end of August. If you did not receive one, please contact the church office. Come any Sunday that works for you! Registration forms will be available weekly or through the office.

Can’t wait to see everyone again next week!

Next Saturday!!

6th-12th graders - get signed up this week and pay at the church office or bring payment along on Saturday.

We need to know by Wednesday if we have 15 or more people to get the $20 rate they are willing to give us. We also need time to ensure we have enough drivers!

Sign up in the Gathering Space, call the church office, or reach out to Katie S.

We had a great Rally Sunday this past weekend, centered around the theme Ready, Set, Grow - growing in God, growing together, growing our faith!

Thank you to all the families that came, participated in activities, enjoyed a snack, and just said hi to station leaders!

Sunday School will start on Sunday, October 4. Please come even if you did not attend Rally Sunday. All are welcome whether you attend weekly or when it works in your schedule!

We are looking forward to a great year!

If you missed the kick-off meeting last night, but are in grades 8-12 and interested in attending the 2027 National Youth Gathering, please let the church office know. A follow up meeting will be scheduled mid to late October to go more in depth, finalize the list, and start the registration process.

Have you attended a NYG? Leave a comment about your experience!

Soul Squad Youth - (Grades 6+) - (and a special note for younger youth and parents)

So much planning is underway! More information will be available at both Rally Sunday - stop at the Soul Squad table and check in! - and at the parent meeting on September 23. While this parent meeting is a kick off to confirmation, there will be information shared for all Soul Squad youth - about Soul Squad events and NYG. Please plan to join!

See You At The Pole is happening September 23 at 7:15am, at the middle school flag pole.

October 7th is Fields of Faith, hosted by local churches. There is going to be a guest speaker, worship and more. If any of you are interested in giving a testimony, please let me know as soon as possible.

And back by popular demand - Wicked Woods! Sign up will be in Gathering Space as soon as this weekend. A special invitation for younger students, if there is interest, we would love to get a group together for the afternoon of 10/10 to attend Little Monsters at Wicked Woods. Check in at Rally Sunday for more information and to express interest!

And of course see yesterday post about the Larsen Hayride. This would be a great event for families or confirmation students to attend with mentors!

Please attend either 9/20 or 9/23 for more info! Reach out to the church office with any questions.
