Huge thank you to the Philadelphia Flyers and Flyers Alumni Todd Fedoruk for coming out to our Learn to Play Hockey Program and spending time with the kids!

Seeing young players share the rink, learn new skills, and have fun alongside a former NHL player is an experience they’ll never forget. Todd brought great energy, encouragement, and a love for the game that inspired every player out there.

Special thanks to the Flyers organization for continuing to grow the game and support youth hockey at the grassroots level. Opportunities like this are what make the hockey community so special.

🏒🔥 WHAT. A. DAY. 🔥🏒

A huge THANK YOU to Flyers Alumni legend Riley Cote for coming to town and hitting the rink with our Linwood Street Hockey Learn to Play kids!

The smiles, excitement, and energy were off the charts as the kids got the chance to learn from one of the best, ask questions, work on their skills, and experience firsthand what makes the hockey community so special.

We are incredibly grateful to the Philadelphia Flyers organization for partnering with us on this Learn to Play program and helping introduce the game we all love to the next generation of players. Opportunities like this create memories that last a lifetime and inspire kids to keep working hard, having fun, and falling in love with hockey.

To Riley, thank you for your time, your passion, and for being such an amazing ambassador for the game. You made a lasting impact on every kid who stepped onto that rink today.

The LSH Board is exploring summer hockey opportunities, but we need to know who’s interested!

Whether you’re looking to stay sharp, get some extra touches, stay active with friends, or just get back out on the rink, now is the time to let us know.

We are gauging interest from our LSH community for a potential summer hockey pick-up league. Each division would have pick up game(s) designated on one night of the week from July 6th through August 14th. Teams would be decided on a weekly basis dependent upon the number of participants.

She’s not currently on a team and the season is still months away
She’s still showing up a few times a month to train and get better

Learn to Play Ball Hockey programs are starting soon at local rinks!

Through this program, kids ages 4-9 can learn the fundamentals of hockey before hitting the ice. Each child receives a street hockey stick, pinnie, and hockey ball!
