🎓Rice Lake Grad Walk

Centennial Seniors who spent their elementary school years here at Rice Lake returned for a little grad walk down memory lane the last week of school! 62 seniors walked the halls while our students cheered them on.

There were lots of smiles and a few tears as students greeted their former teachers!

Congrats to all the Graduates!

Dear Mrs. Fried, Mrs. Swenson, Ms. Jane, Ms. Jacki and Mr. John,

As you step into a well-earned retirement, we want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your dedication, passion and kindness have shaped not just lessons, but lives. You’ve guided students with patience, inspired them with creativity, and supported them with compassion.

Through your years of service, you’ve made the school a place where children felt safe, seen, and excited to learn. You’ve helped build the foundation for bright futures, one student, one lesson and one encouraging word at a time.

Though you’ll be deeply missed in the hallways and classrooms, your legacy will continue in every smile, every “aha” moment, and every child and staff member who carries your lessons forward.

We do have a small number of extra yearbooks that we will sell here in the office beginning Friday morning June 5th.

The books will be $20 each, cash or checks made out to the RLPTO.

As the school year winds down we are already thinking about next year and we would LOVE for YOU to join the Rice Lake PTO board!

We have THREE Open Board positions for the 2026-2027 school year: Communications, and two spots with Events/Volunteer Coordination. See descriptions below for more information. If you are ready to say YES please email the Rice Lake PTO: [email protected]
EVENT LIAISONS (2 OPEN positions, 2-yr term), 2026-2027 & 2027-2028
đź’šTo recruit volunteers and chairs for various events and activities that promotes the purposes of the RLPTO
đź’šCreate and maintain the Volunteer Forms needed through Sign Up Genius to recruit volunteers throughout the year; once the list is created maintain and update đź’šBoard at each meeting
đź’šTo coordinate and maintain an accurate list of chairs per event through the year
đź’šPull volunteer report as requested by the board
đź’šHelp monitor PTO events
đź’šAttend monthly board meetings
