Thank You! to all of the shoppers who came out to support our first Lion's Club Farmers Market of the Season. The Vendors thank you. We had a good time and look forward to a great season. The storms held off and the little rain we got was easy enough to deal with. Here are some photos from today. Come back next week to see who else will be with us. We'll be setting up on Wednesday , June 17th in the front parking lot of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store, opening at 2:30. Hope to see you there!

THE CIRCLE PINES –LEXINGTON LIONS CLUB’S FARMERS MARKET OPENS Today, JUNE 10TH!!
The front Parking Lot of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store is turning into the Circle Lex Farmers Market today, June 10th, at 2:30 PM to 6:30PM. The Market will be setting up every Wednesday this summer with the last market on September 30th.
The Lions tent will be up offering a shaded area for sitting and visiting. We will have; information about our upcoming projects, shopping bags will be available for a freewill donation (while supply lasts), the eye collection box will be set out allowing you to drop off your old glasses, and information on how you can help support our community by joining the Lions and being part of our growing Lions Club.
Today’s weather is questionable. The weather is always something to be aware of during our open air market’s season. Our policy is always to keep our vendors and community safe. SAFETY FIRST! Our vendors know that we will try to keep our market open for you, BUT each vendor is allowed to decide for themselves if they will open. Some items they sale do not do well IN RAIN or HIGH TEMPERTURES.
Come check out the Market today. I cannot promise that all of our vendors will be able to come out today because of the weather, I will be there. Vang farms hope to be selling plants, herbs, veggies and veggies today. Below is a list of vendors who planned on being with us.

Josh and Alyssa with canned salsa, Jellies, Bloody Mary Mix and much, much more,
Judy with her Flavored Maple Syrup, The Blueberry is to die for, so good!

THE CIRCLE PINES –LEXINGTON LIONS CLUB’S FARMERS MARKET OPENS JUNE 10TH!!

The front Parking Lot of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store is turning into the Circle Lex Farmers Market next week on June 10th, at 2:30 PM. The Market will be setting up every Wednesday this summer with the last market on September 30th. The market will be open each Wednesday afternoon from 2:30 to 6:30 PM. The Lions tent will be up offering a shaded area for sitting and visiting. Do you remember Doa Vang, from Vang Farms? She is one of our returning vegetable vendors this year, and I love talking to her about the best way to prepare her veggies. Last week I drove north to Stanchfield, MN, to check on how she was doing with the garden and all of the strange May weather we'd been having. I got there at 8:30 am and found her out in the green houses watering her large variety of plants. She already had several hours of work in by then, but was happy to put down the hose to walk me through the green houses pointing out the herbs, and the many veggies she has ready for planting. I lost track of all the plants she has ready for sale. Her green houses were full. She had tomatoes, squash, peppers, herbs, beans, cabbage, kale, onions and much much more that I can't remember. She plans to be with us on June 10th to sell her plants. Please stop by and pick up some plants for your patio or garden. Opening day of the The Circle Pines-Lexington Farmers Market is June 10th the market opens at 2:30 pm and will close at 6:30 PM. We are setting up in the front parking lot of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store again this year with many of our returning vendors and some new ones.

Come check out the Lions Tent. The Lions will have an extra chair for those of you who want to sit and visit a while. We will be collecting eye glasses again this year. Eyeglass collecting began in 1925 after Helen Keller challenged members at the Lions Clubs International Convention to become "knights of the blind". Join us is supporting this International Project. We will also have flyers and information on what we are doing this year to help support our community. The Market will be open every Wednesday afternoon Starting June 10th and will run through September 30th weather permitting. Hope to see you there.!

Sharing just a little of the excitement about this years Circle-Lex Lions Club's Farmers Market, Starting on June 10th from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. We will be setting up in the Front parking lot of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store. Svihel Farms is returning this year along with Kingdom Baking and Nancy and Cathy from To Crafty Chicks. Please stop in and join me in welcoming these vendors back for another full season of fresh veggies, fresh breads and pastries and the beautiful hand made crafts and jewelry by Nancy and Cathy.
