Lake Wedowee friends: Thank you for a great opening for WOW 2026! We hope to see you again tomorrow at 9 a.m. Former SIFAT intern Sarah Francis will be speaking, and our Learn & Serve staff will be singing! Remember, if it is raining, we move to the porch at Allen’s Lakeside Marina.

Did you know that you can rent SIFAT's facilities? For the next two weeks, we will be welcome a large retreat to our campus in Alabama. They planned their own programming and meals, but needed a location to host their retreat. Our campus is a beautiful location with several housing options. Looking to plan your own retreat? At our Learn & Serve Summer Experience in Alabama, youth (7th-12th grades) can explore our world while learning about the cultures and lives of our global neighbors and by serving in our local communities to make a difference! Today, we're celebrating Wayne! He's in the midst of renovating the downstairs bathrooms in the Lodge, but it's his special day. In the relatively short time Wayne has been part of our staff, he's already become invaluable and has made improvements in almost every building on campus. Happy Birthday!
