Because this page is a support system for the City of Lincoln Pound, we only network for animals that are impounded or needs adopted. At times we try to network with other shelter, pages, groups, and organizations by helping to create a larger network base for Washington County as a whole. Courtesy posts from the network help spread the news a lot faster. If you are in Lincoln city limits and wish
to relinquish your pet, please contact the Lincoln Animal Control.. Once the animal is impounded, our group will be able to help network it and help with re-homing. If you are not in Lincoln city limits, you can relinquish to YOUR city's pound or the Washington County Animal Shelter. If you do choose to personally re-home your animal, please be sure to ask a small re-homing fee. We know from experience that bad things often happen to free dogs. We can not accept rehoming posts unless the animal had been identified and adopted from the pound and previously identified.Only in this instance can we make an exception to our intent for support. This page has been set up to hopefully reunite pets with their families, bring awareness to the need for spay and neutering your pet, and to bring awareness to the importance of Pet Identification by the use of tags and/or microchipping. We encourage and promote owner responsibility for the care and well-being of their animal friends. We also want to make our residents aware of news and ordinances that can involve them and their pets in and around the Lincoln, AR area It is our hope to include tips, answers for questions from our followers and information that might be helpful to all pet owners alike.
