We’ve got more books out than ever before! Hope to see you at our sale this weekend!

Sale is at Aspen Drive Library Lower Level

Saturday, October 17th
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Members Only (become a member at the door!)
11:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Open to the Public

Sunday, October 18th
12:30 - 4:00 PM $5 Bag Sale - Open to the Public
We supply the bag, and you fill it with all the books, movies, etc. that fit for $5. Multiple bags are permitted. Educators who teach at schools in the Library District may select books free of charge with a valid school ID.

Join us this weekend for our biggest book sale ever! After a reorganization and a lot of fresh new inventory (thanks to the community!) we’ll have 14,000 books for sale, not including our media items!

Sale is at Aspen Drive Library Lower Level

Saturday, October 17th

Saturday, October 17 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Members Only) 11:30 am to 4:00 pm (General Public)
Sunday, October 18 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm for $5 Bag Sale!

Aspen Drive Library (701 N. Aspen Dr., Vernon Hills), lower level.

Educators who work in District schools (with ID) may stock up for FREE.

Cash preferred, credit card accepted.

We are now accepting donations for our Fall Sale (details on that below)!

Donate at the Aspen Drive or Cook Library lobbies up to October 11th or until we hit our capacity:
* Children’s Books – most in need
* Fiction books – publication date 10 years or newer (classics are okay)
* Nonfiction books – publication date 10 years old or newer
* CDs or Vinyl Records
* Movies on DVD or Blu-Ray
* Puzzles (no missing pieces) – adults and children

Due to limited storage space, we CANNOT accept the following items:
* Damaged, worn, dogeared, or moldy books
* Book with marginalia (writing, highlighter, or notes in margins)
* ANY textbooks
* VHS or cassette tapes
* Reader’s Digest or abridged books
* Encyclopedias or sets of old publication collections (such as National Geographic)
* Magazines
