Pickens County Meals on Wheels Our home-delivered hot meal program is administered by a 15 member volunteer Board of Directors composed of concerned Pickens County citizens.

Pickens County Meals on Wheels employs a staff of six part-time staff, a full time program manager, full-time development & fundraising coordinator and full-time executive director. In 2015 after a capital campaign Meals on Wheels was fortunate enough to renovate a previous school facility in downtown Liberty. Our facility is named The McKissick Center for Senior Wellness which serves as the hub o

f PCMOW's operations. It is the home of our newly established PCMOW kitchen, home-delivered meal program, and the Young at Heart dining and activity program. We are centrally located in Pickens County, The McKissick Center serves as a community focal point that exclusively focuses on the three threats of aging: hunger, isolation and loss of independence. We have grown from serving 10 individuals initially in 1980 to serving more than 300 individuals each weekday. Eligibility is need-based to Pickens County residents. Client contributions are important. Daily, weekly, or monthly contributions toward the cost of meal service allow us to continue providing meals to all who need them.

Thank you to Community Foundation of Greater Clemson for supporting seniors in Pickens County!!

We were honored to present a $1,000 grant to Pickens County Meals on Wheels!

CFGC Executive Director Allie Sloan joined PCMOW Executive Director Kim Valentin to celebrate this investment in an organization that works every day to combat hunger, loneliness, and isolation while providing a lifeline through caring volunteers.

We are grateful for Kim’s leadership and for the staff and volunteers who ensure our neighbors across Pickens County receive not only a nutritious meal, but also connection, compassion, and care.

This is community in action—and we are proud to support it!

A huge thank-you to the Rotary Club of Easley for putting together 400 shelf-stable food kits for our home-delivered meal clients!

This service project will help ensure our clients have food on hand during inclement weather, power outages, or other times when meal delivery may be disrupted.
