🎉 We’re keeping the birthday celebration going for Operation Celebration Coordinator Dawn Boguske!

Dawn’s heart for making children feel seen, valued and celebrated is the driving force behind Operation Celebration. In its first year, the program provided 293 birthday bags to local children—and Dawn’s birthday wish is to help fill even more in the year ahead. 💛

It costs approximately $25 to provide one complete birthday bag, but gifts of every size help create a special celebration for a local child.

🎉 Today marks one year of Operation Celebration! 🎉

Over the past year, our incredible volunteers, donors and community partners have helped provide 293 birthday bags to local children—each filled with party supplies, a special gift and everything needed to make a birthday feel a little more joyful. 💛

As we celebrate this milestone and look ahead to year two, Operation Celebration Coordinator Dawn Boguske has a special birthday wish of her own. In honor of her birthday on September 27, she hopes to fill as many birthday bags as possible for the year ahead!

It costs approximately $25 to provide one complete birthday bag, and gifts of every size help create meaningful celebrations for local children.

Behind the scenes of birthday joy. 🎉

Volunteers helped pack birthday bags filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, party supplies and a small gift — all to help local children feel celebrated on their special day.

We were so honored to be invited to join this year’s back-to-school resource fair for the Kearney school district! We got to spend some time with other great community resources, and to tell lots of families about what we offer at MARCH and Operation Celebration 🎉

✨ **Operation: Celebration is Growing — and We Need Your Help!** 🎉

Operation: Celebration has grown so much over the past year, and thanks to our partnership with a local nonprofit, we're ready to take the next step. To continue serving more children, I'm building our very first volunteer committee—and I'd love for you to be part of it!

I'm looking to build an amazing volunteer committee of people who are passionate about making birthdays special for children in our community.

These are **100% volunteer positions**—there is **no pay**, just the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who deserve to feel celebrated.

I'm currently looking for volunteers to help in these areas:

🎈 **Fundraising Team / Fundraising Specialist**
Help us secure donations, sponsorships, and creative fundraising opportunities. If you have experience with successful fundraising strategies, donor outreach, or community partnerships, I'd especially love to hear from you!

🎁 **Bag Packing Team**
Help assemble our birthday celebration bags by organizing supplies, packing birthday kits, and preparing them for distribution.

📋 **Consultant / Advisor**
Do you have experience with nonprofits, community outreach, event planning, marketing, or organizational growth? I'd love to have someone who can offer guidance and help Operation: Celebration continue moving in the right direction.

📱 **Social Media Team**
Help create posts, share our mission, celebrate milestones, and spread the word so we can reach more supporters and more children.

💜 I'm looking for people who are excited about helping children, believe every child deserves a birthday to remember, and are willing to be ambassadors for our mission in the community.

Whether you have a few hours a month or a little more time to give, your talents can make a real impact.
