Cherished moments from a weekend we’ll carry in our hearts for a long time.

Our first year without both founders, Sandy and Jerry Tucker, was bittersweet… we missed them deeply, but felt their love in the way their story spread far and wide.

We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who showed up, gave, bid, shared a meal, and supported our mission here at Galilean. Your generosity helps us continue caring on the legacy Jerry and Sandy started.

Thank you for surrounding our home with so much love.

Sandy and Jerry were dearly missed, and their legacy continues to live on❤️

Happy Birthday to Diane, Dawn, & Denise!🎂

This week we celebrated three very special members of the Galilean Home family. ❤️

Diane first came to Galilean in 2010 and has been a regular visitor, friend, faithful volunteer ever since. She is like family to many here! We’re so grateful for the care and commitment she’s shared with us over the years!

Dawn helps keep this ministry moving & we’re thankful for all the ways she cares for our residents, caregivers, and team.

And to know Denise is to know a ray of sunshine! ☀️

She’s almost always smiling, laughing, or ready to make someone else do the same. She makes people feel seen and loved…with a little laughter mixed in. Just don’t underestimate her at UNO! 😂

We’re grateful for each of you and the joy, kindness, and heart you bring to Galilean.

Join us in wishing Diane, Dawn, and Denise a wonderful birthday! We love you! 🥳❤️

We celebrated Kristi’s 50th birthday with a special dinner at Cattleman’s! ❤️

Kristi has such a servant’s heart. You can always find her faithfully serving and often she is dedicated to making sure the dishes get washed!

It was especially meaningful to celebrate at Cattleman’s, where Mara, who grew up at the Galilean Home, is now the manager. She was such a gracious and lovely host for Kristi’s birthday. ☺️

Mara & Kristi are both daughters of Jerry and Sandy Tucker, making this a beautiful family celebration.

Happy 50th birthday, Kristi! We love you!
