Casey County Friends of Education The purpose of the Friends of Education is to support the students and educators in Casey County.

Friends of Education is a non-profit organization aimed at enhancing the educational experience for our students.
~We work to help maintain the Beech Bottom School, a one-room school that all fourth-graders in the county visit.
~We work with teachers looking to bring special funding to their classrooms, offering mini-grants so that they can purchase things to benefit their students in the classr

oom.
~We offer a $500 renewable scholarship to one graduating senior every year; to qualify, they must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, show financial need, and be involved within their school and the community.

We want to thank everyone for their support of the Casey County Friends of Education. By purchasing these tickets each year, we can continue to award scholarships to seniors, grants to teachers, and more, to have a positive impact on students in our community.

We have a few extra special thanks to extend to Adam Cain and Brad Johnson for loaning us equipment, Scott and Audrey Rousey for donating their time, and the Lights of Liberty Theater for letting us use the space last night. And, of course, to the Casey County Rebel and Lady Rebel Athletics for being our partners in all of this. We could not do this without all of you.

Apologies if we have forgotten someone -- just know you are all appreciated!

TOMORROW (Thursday) kicks off the Casey County Apple Festival and we will be in our usual spot on the square.

Remember, only 1,000 tickets are sold but it just takes one to get the $10k! And we can't forget about the other prizes! So don't wait to claim your number, come by early!

It's that time again! The Casey County Apple Festival is about a month away, which means it's time to get your tickets.

They arrived this week, so contact your Friends of Education member or your CCHS Rebel Basketball Booster parent to grab your favorite number today!

Drawing will be Sept. 27, location to be determined. Check back to Facebook or ask at the booth for updates!

Big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets this year! Without your continued support, we couldn't help the students in our great county as we do.
