Hello!
The next meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of September, the 8th, 6pm at the Community Center on Texas Avenue.
September is the last month of this year we'll be hosting Movie Night in the Park (last Friday of September), and the movie will be "The Land Before Time". Movies are proceeded by hamburgers and hot dogs at the Pavillion sponsored by local givers. Movie starts at dusk!
We are planning our 3rd Annual Community Picnic. Some have responded to the event on Facebook with willingness to help, please send a message here if you are interested in helping and your ideas of how. Set-up is always a big task, as is breakdown and clean up. The idea is to gather in the park, share a meal, hang out and visit, and having lots of engaging activities available for the children and anyone to would like to participate in. If you have any ideas, please share your thoughts.
We are working on getting up to speed on how to use/update our website www.visitlewistonca.com. If anyone is WordPress savvy and would like to assist, send us a message. It's a little but BIG difference you'd make in helping us out, and you could spend as much time as you choose, either helping update the site yourself, or answering questions from those doing it.
