ACB Maine ACB Maine is a non-profit organization representing the American Council of the Blind.

We are a grass roots consumer group affiliated with the National American Council of the Blind. Our purpose is to promote the independence, security, equality of opportunity and quality of life for all of the people of Maine who are blind and/or visually impaired.

We’re thrilled to announce that ACB has been selected as a recipient of an AI Glasses Impact Grant from Meta! We're proud to join 30 organizations across the U.S. using AI glasses to drive societal and economic impact in our communities. This grant will help expand ACB's programs and create new opportunities for people who are blind or have low vision to benefit from hands-free AI technology.
