‼️ 3/16/26 UPDATE: The Middletown Township Office of Emergency Management has learned that U.S. Coast Guard members are now receiving pay after funds were shifted within the Department of Homeland Security. As a result, the immediate need that prompted our donation drive has been alleviated, and the effort is being placed on hold for now.

We are incredibly grateful to the Middletown community for its willingness to step up and support local Coast Guard families. Should the situation change again, we stand ready to restart the drive. Thank you for your continued support of those who serve our country. 🇺🇸⚓

📣 Beginning TODAY, 3/12, the Middletown Township Office of Emergency Management is collecting gift cards and nonperishable foods to support local U.S. Coast Guard families impacted by the partial government shutdown.

This effort is in conjunction with the Jersey Shore Chief Petty Officers Association.

Community members can drop off donations at Town Hall and VFW Post 2179. The drive will continue until the U.S. Coast Guard gets paid.

🇺🇸 Grand Opening: Middletown Veterans Village 🇺🇸

Mayor Tony Perry and the Township Committee invite the community to join the official Grand Opening of the Middletown Veterans Village on Sunday, November 2nd at 11:00 AM, followed by the annual Veterans Day Parade at 1:00 PM.

The new Veterans’ Housing Project provides 12 affordable units in a three-story, 21,660-square-foot building near Campbell’s Junction.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone for Middletown’s veterans and community! ❤️🤍💙
