🌾🦃 Young Farmer Ostrich Farm Tour, Bison Meal & Bonfire 🔥🌙

Farm Bureau members ages 18–35 and their families are invited to a fun evening on Saturday, August 29 near Oskaloosa in Mahaska County!

We’ll kick things off with a guided tour of Striegel Acres to learn about ostrich farming, then head to Deep Roots Bison for a delicious bison meal and a relaxing bonfire.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids are welcome! This is a great chance for young farm families and ag enthusiasts to connect, learn, and enjoy a summer evening together with others who share a passion for agriculture.

🎤🌟 Congratulations to all of the winners of the Bill Riley Talent Show held on Thursday, July 16, during the Decatur County Fair! 🌟🎤
A special thank you to Decatur County Farm Bureau, for helping make this event possible.
We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who participated in this year's show. Your hard work, courage, and talent made for an outstanding evening of entertainment. It was wonderful to see so much incredible local talent showcased on the fair stage!

Decatur County Farm Bureau would like to remind 4-H/FFA Exhibitors, Parents, Leaders, and Volunteers of our free breakfast on Saturday morning of the Decatur County Fair! We look forward to celebrating our local youth and their accomplishments. Serving will begin at 6:30 a.m.

🎡🌟 Supporting the Future of Decatur County! 🌟🎡

The Decatur County Farm Bureau is proud to support local youth by making a donation toward 4-H and FFA premium awards at the Decatur County Fair this July.

This contribution is just one of the many ways Farm Bureau continues to invest in the next generation, helping young people develop leadership, responsibility, and agricultural skills that will benefit our communities for years to come.

Presenting the donation on behalf of the Decatur County Farm Bureau was voting delegate Deanna Brennecke. Accepting the donation on behalf of the fair board were Brenda Shields, Cherlyn Hullinger, and Tara Norman-Pankey.

We look forward to celebrating the hard work and achievements of our 4-H and FFA exhibitors at this year's fair. Thank you to everyone who helps make these opportunities possible!
