Children remain a very high priority in our teaching and in building for the future, but are also a very important part of the present. All of God’s family members from one day to over a hundred years are important in our church family. We remember and honor those who have already gone to heaven who sacrificed to give us our present place of worship and teaching. We celebrate every person we worsh
ip with every week. Most of all, we are glad we serve the never-changing God the Father, Jesus His Son and the precious Holy Spirit. In Matthew 9:36-38 it is written of Jesus, “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’”
