To our Lennon Community, We have made the difficult decision to close the Lennon Area Food Pantry after this month. There are many reasons for this closure, and it would take much time to explain them all. However, the most important one is that we feel like it is time to find different ways to serve our community. Operating the pantry for almost seven years has been our pleasure and privilege. We opened in August of 2017, and we are grateful for all of you who donated money and food. The Lennon Area has done an awesome job supporting our efforts to support those in need with food and coats. Please follow our church's page, Sent Out Community Church, for updates and see how we will be outreaching and impacting the great community of Lennon in the near future. God has a great plan!

We will be open the next two Tuesdays, March 11 and 18, from 6-8 PM. We are sorry to say that these will be our last dates serving our community food at full capacity. There is the possibility that some additional dates may be added to deplete our inventory. Please see this page for additional opportunities as they are posted.

Reminder! We ARE open tonight from 6:00-8:00 pm! Please come if you are in need. We have milk, eggs, bread, meat, and other grocery essentials! Also, please note, we will not be open again until February 12. Please see our page for the areas we serve.

Attention! Please note that the dates we are open in January are January 14 & 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm. You may notice that this is a change from our norm. Unfortunately, we have lost a major source of our food supply, which has resulted in an increase in our expenses (almost 100% more). As a result, we are cutting our hours. We hate to do this, but hope you understand.

Lennon Community, how can you help? We can use non-perishable donations of canned vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots, potatoes); canned fruit (pineapple, pears, peaches, oranges); saltine crackers; canned/boxed meals (Chef Boyardee, Hamburger Helper, chili); and canned soups (chicken noodle, vegetable soup, etc). Donations can be dropped off in the donation box by the pantry entrance or during pantry hours. Please message us with any questions you may have.

A special thanks to Carl Sahlke for stopping by with a huge load of food from the Lennon Lions Club, including chicken, potatoes, bananas, and oranges. We appreciate the love for those in our community who have need!

A special thanks to the lovely ladies, representatives of Steiner Tractor Parts, Inc., who brought us three grocery carts FULL of groceries plus four boxes of paper towels and toilet paper! What a blessing! Did you know Steiner Tractor Parts supports our Food Pantry every single month financially? If you know someone who works there, be sure to let them know you appreciate them supporting our local Food Pantry! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
