While we just have the one (they take in way more cats than we do) you can see how it adds up. Toberlone's meds are $165.00 for 2 weeks. Vet apt $80.00, blood work $150.00. Thats $400.00 (aprox evey 2ish weeks. )

Happy Sunday!!

Toblerone, our FIP Kitty, is graduating FIP treatment! She goes into a 12 week monitoring starting Monday. To end her treatment, they need blood work. A full Chem 11 and CBC, with discount, will be $146.70. Attached is the estimate.

We appreciate all of you so much for helping us with her treatment. Without you guys, we would have lost her. If anyone can help with her last appointment and blood work, we would greatly appreciate it. 

Additionally, we have an adult cat named Nova. Nova is a semi feral that lives with one of our fosters. She is very sick and has lost a lot of weight. We need to get her seen ASAP. If anyone can help, even five dollars, it would help to get her in to diagnose what is wrong.

🐾 Update on our FIP kitty, Toblerone! 🐾

We have some wonderful news to share about our sweet girl! Toblerone has been on FIP treatment for a few weeks now, and while her lab values are slowly improving and the fluid is gradually reabsorbing, the biggest changes have been in her energy and appetite. ❤️

She’s been playing with toys, spending time with her sister, and genuinely seems to be feeling better. You can see it in her eyes. She’s finally getting to be a kitten again, and watching her come back to life has been so special.

Another exciting update: Toblerone is now 3.3 lbs, up from her starting weight of 2.6 lbs! 🎉

We still have appointments ahead to monitor her progress, with her next one scheduled for Friday, September 18th. She also needs additional FIP treatment to keep moving in the right direction.

We know we ask a lot from you all, but Toblerone’s progress has been possible because of your incredible support. Every donation, share, and kind message has made a difference. We are so grateful for this amazing community that continues to show up for our girl. ❤️

Toblerone the FIP kitty Update:

At her follow-up appointment on Tuesday, the vet was able to finally get bloodwork done on her, which confirmed FIP due to her levels. The fluid in her tummy is also worse.

HOWEVER

The good news.

Her anemia levels have improved. She's sitting at about 18%. Previously she was so low it didn't register (between 10-15%). Transfusion levels are typically at 20%.

She has not lost weight,but is now maintaining. The small amount of weight she has put on is most likely fluid.

Her personality is coming back through. Her eyes are brighter, and she has tiny moments of playfulness. She is also eating a small amount of Recovery and dry food.

We appreciate all the help that we've been receiving from all of you. Toblerone is still needing a lot of help and is not out of the woods yet. We are entering week 2 of treatment (14 days), and the vet is wanting 45-84 days of continuous treatment.

She is requiring vet appts every 10-14 days and FIP medication. Anymore help is greatly appreciated to keep her going.

We love all of you. And Toblerone and her foster family greatly appreciate ever one of you ❤❤❤

Just wanted to give a quick update on Toblerone our FIP kitten. She saw the vet yesterday, ($138) they couldn't get enough blood to do the blood work, but she is extremely anemic. We got a rx of FIP meds from the pharmacy ($65 for 2 weeks) and steroids. she goes back next week and hopefully they can get blood drawn. Shes doing better andwanting food more. We'll update in a couple days. Thank you to everyone who made treatment possible

I want to thank Feline Good Animal Rescue in Eugene for giving us meds to start her on (we will reimburse the meds) we've ordered the same brand so as not to mess up treatment. We are so grateful to all of you. We have enough to get bloodwork done as well. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

We have a kitten that we believe has FIP.
We need to get meds , we're broke guys. We literally have under $50 in our accounts combined. You can see how labored her breathing is and how big her stomach has gotten over night. If we dont get her started, her chances are zero. Video in comments.
