The Lebanon Kiwanis Club is proud to give back to the children in our community in many ways! Last week, Kiwanians began delivering much needed extra clothing to the four elementary school clinics within Lebanon Community School Corporation. Our club will continue dropping off donations following spring break.

Welcome (back) to our newest member, Heather Myers-Montgomery! Heather has previously been a Lebanon Kiwanian and due to a job change she had to step away, but only for a short time! We are so happy to have Heather and the Boone County Chamber of Commerce join us in our mission of improving the lives of children in our community and beyond!

We had a full house today! The Lebanon Kiwanis Club invited our friends from The Rotary Club of Lebanon and officials from multiple Lebanon, Indiana city offices to hear from Mayor Matt Gentry. Mayor Gentry updated attendees on the state of the city and addressed questions from those in attendance.

Did you know that more than 100 different languages are spoken by Boone County residents? Last Thursday our group heard from Mary Brabson with the Learning Network of Boone County. This amazing non-profit is helping residents, whose primary language is not English, in our community!

☘️ The Luck of the Leprechauns was with our club today!

We were thrilled to be joined by members of the staff and players from the Lebanon Leprechauns at today’s meeting. We heard from GM Chris Canal, Coach Fagans, Omega Harris and Hunter Bode on the organization, their journeys to get to this place, and what they’re most looking forward to this season (hint: it’s the fans’ support and winning)!

Good luck to the team this season! The Lebanon Kiwanis Club is cheering you on! We encourage all members of our community to support this asset and these young men who are not only playing basketball, but immersing themselves in our community!
