Sweet times for a great cause!

Lebanon Lions Club members Bob Homan and Barbara Taylor had a wonderful time at Thursday’s Candy Day Jamboree alongside District Governor Rex Barbee! We also heard from Lions of Illinois Foundation Executive Director Ron Fruit, who spoke about the vital programs supported by our upcoming Candy Day fundraiser.

The Lebanon Lions Club will be holding Candy Days on October 9 & 10! Your donations support life-changing services across Illinois, including vision and hearing services, low vision assistance, hearing aid programs, and Camp Lions.

It was great to have two of our scholarship recipients, Lincoln Hamm and Connor Rawus, join us at Wednesday evening’s Lebanon Lions Club meeting to officially receive their scholarship checks.🎓

Lincoln received a $4,000 scholarship and Connor received a $3,000 scholarship. We’re proud to support these outstanding young men as they continue their education and pursue their future goals.

Congratulations again, Lincoln and Connor! We wish you both the very best in this exciting next chapter!

The Lebanon Lions Scholarship Classic is just around the corner on September 12, and we’re looking for hole sponsors to help make a difference!

100% of hole sponsorship donations go directly to the Lebanon Lions Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships each spring to deserving Lebanon High School seniors.

As a hole sponsor, your business or family name will be displayed on a full-color sign at one of the golf course holes, making it a great way to support local students while gaining community recognition.

Sponsorship levels start at just $25, so every contribution makes an impact!

What a meaningful evening for the Lebanon Lions Club!

After a brief meeting, we welcomed God’s Helping Hands, who shared the incredible work they do serving neighbors experiencing homelessness in Belleville and the growing need across our local communities.

Together, we assembled 50 Summer Care Bags filled with a T-shirt, rain poncho, body wipes, deodorant, and lip balms. Through our food drive, we also collected a generous supply of shelf-stable food, snacks, and more than 50 fresh apples.

Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered. Your kindness is making a real difference!

A great evening as the Lebanon Lions Club kicked off the 2026-2027 Lion Year!

We enjoyed our Officer Installation Dinner at the Lantern BLE Restaurant, where District Governor Bob Homan officially swore in our new officers. Congratulations to our incoming leaders, and thank you for your commitment to serving others.

Following the installation, we held a brief business meeting before being honored to receive a generous donation from Christ Brothers Asphalt in recognition of Sam Schaal’s retirement. Their support and generosity are greatly appreciated and will help us continue our mission of service through the Lebanon Lions Club.

Here’s to another great year of fellowship, service, and making a difference!
