Making a difference one lunch at a time, the Lebanon Lions Club spent the evening supporting the Grab N Go Summer Lunch Program!

Club members prepared sandwiches and packed lunch bags with bananas, chips, water, and homemade desserts to help provide meals for local children throughout the summer.

A special thank you to Allison Corbitt, coordinator of the Grab N Go program, for her dedication to helping ensure children in our community have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.

Join Us in Helping Feed Local Children This Summer!

The Lebanon Lions Club is proud to support the Grab ’N Go Summer Lunch Program, which provides free lunches to school-age children in Lebanon and Summerfield throughout the summer months.

In addition to supporting the program with a donation, Lebanon Lions Club members will be volunteering to pack lunches and invite the community to join us for this meaningful service project.

Wednesday, June 10
7:00 PM
Lebanon First Methodist
Church
603 W St Louis
Lebanon, IL

We are asking community members, families, friends, students, and service-minded individuals to volunteer just one hour of their time to help pack lunches. Together, we can help ensure that local children have access to nutritious meals when school is out of session.

Can’t attend but would still like to help? You can support this wonderful program by making a donation. Please make checks payable to Lebanon First Methodist Church and write “Grab & Go” in the memo line. Your donation will help provide meals for children throughout the summer.

Thank you for helping us serve our community. Please share this post and invite others to join us!

The Lebanon Lions Club is hard at work!

Tonight, our members rolled up their sleeves to sort through community donation boxes. We carefully separate everything into categories to make sure nothing goes to waste:

Eyeglasses:
We remove old cases and pack the glasses tightly to ship to an official Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. There, they are cleaned, sanitized, and graded by prescription strength before being sent on medical mission trips to help people see across the globe.

Hearing Aids:
These delicate devices are packed safely and sent to specialized Hearing Aid Banks. Professional technicians refurbish and sanitize them so they can be fitted for qualified, low-income individuals right here in our community.

Tabs & Ink Cartridges:
Pull tabs and used printer cartridges are sorted and taken to local recycling centers. Funds raised from these materials go directly toward Lions charitable programs that support local sight and hearing initiatives.

Thank you for your incredible donations. Together, we are serving our community and helping people around the world!

Want to see what we’re all about? Follow our page for upcoming projects, and bring your family to help at our next hands-on service night!

At tonight’s Lebanon Lions Club meeting, Benjamin Kittstein officially received his $2,000 Lebanon Lions scholarship. We wish Benjamin all the best as he begins trade school later this month to further his welding skills and pursue his future career goals.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Alexandra Lockridge from the Alzheimer’s Association for her powerful and informative presentation on the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Following the presentation, the Lebanon Lions were proud to present a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of their important work in advocacy, education, and research.
