Meet Ted Bowman, Keynote speaker for September 18-20, 2026 Healing Takes Time Retreat. Ted is a grief and family educator who specializes in change and transitions that lead to losses and grieving. He has over 40 years of experience teaching, consulting & writing (6 books) in MN and other states and many other countries, especially England, Scotland & Ireland. He is the father & stepfather of four children, and grandfather of five 'grand' children, four alive and one dead but alive in memory and love. His wife, Marge, died in July 2020. Their rich marriage of 41 years reminds him of the gifts of their lives, even as he grieves her death. The retreat is open for men and women over the age of 18. Registration will begin in June, 2026.

Mark Your Calendars for September 18-20, 2026 in which Ted Bowman will be our keynote speaker for our 14th Annual Healing Takes Time Fall retreat. Ted specializes in Grief and Loss, Resiliency Promotion, and Honest Hope. He has written five books in which one of my favorites is: Loss of Dreams: A special kind of Grief. He is the father and stepfather of four children, and a grandfather of five “grand” children, four alive, one dead but alive in memory and love. His wife, Marge, died in July 2020. The retreat is held at the Franciscan Retreat & Spirituality Center in Prior Lake, Mn. Registrations begin in June, however, in the meantime I invite you to look up Ted's website for more information on grief and hope.
