🎉 A BIG THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Laurinburg, NC! 🎉

Yesterday, the club presented a $25,000 gift to the Scotland Cancer Treatment Center Expansion Project after a unanimous vote of support from its members.

Their investment helps move our Capital Campaign closer to its $2 million goal, with more than $1.2 million raised to date.

To honor their commitment to local cancer care, a nourishment room in the expanded Chemotherapy Lab will proudly bear the Rotary Club of Laurinburg name.

We are deeply grateful for this partnership and for Rotary's dedication to improving the lives of cancer patients throughout our region.

Together, we're making sure cancer care remains close to home.

Today, we recognize and celebrate two extraordinary women whose leadership, dedication, and service have helped shape the Scotland Memorial Foundation. 🎉

After completing their three 3-year terms on the Foundation Board of Trustees, we extend our deepest gratitude to Ruby Williamson and Nancy Adcock for their remarkable contributions.

For many years, Ruby has served as Co-Chair of the Ritz, lending her expertise, energy, and talent to the auction component of one of our signature fundraising events. Her commitment has played an important role in the Ritz's continued success.

Nancy's impact spans decades. As Chair of the Outreach Committee, she has led efforts surrounding community events such as the Highland Society Dinner. Having served two separate 9-year terms on the Board, Nancy has worked alongside all six Foundation Executive Directors, providing steadfast leadership, historical perspective, and unwavering support.

Together, Ruby and Nancy have contributed countless hours, invaluable expertise, and a passion for our mission that will leave a lasting legacy. While they will be greatly missed on the Board and Executive Committee, we are grateful that both have committed to remain active as members of the Ritz Committee.

Danny was a previous Scotland Memorial Foundation scholarship winner, and we're so excited to welcome him to the Scotland Health Care System!

Danny's arrival is especially meaningful as he is also a former recipient of a $2,000 Scotland Memorial Foundation scholarship, bringing his journey with Scotland Health full circle.
