It's Trail Tuesday!🌿

What do the Joe Adair Outdoor Education Center and Joanna Park have in common?

They are both home to Story Walks!

Story Walks are interactive activities that bring literacy and time outside together! Pages from a children's book are posted one by one along an outdoor trail- allowing your child to practice their reading skills while spending time being active outside.

Which trail will you try next? Let us know in the comments!👇

Great discussion at today’s Thrive Laurens County meeting! 💚 We spent time exploring healthy eating initiatives across our community. Including food pantries, community gardens, and mobile fruit and vegetable pantries. The conversation focused on the “who, what, when, and why” of each initiative, along with how long implementation could take and which options may work best in different areas of Laurens County. Excited to continue building solutions that increase access to healthy foods for all. 🌱
