We are so excited to be starting back our regular classes at The North Street Mission on Tuesday, September 10th. There are several ways for you to get involved in this amazing ministry!

Tutoring Program:
We meet every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30, and we need lots of volunteers! This is a great opportunity for students needing service hours. Tutoring usually last about an hour. We give the kids a snack and then break them into groups by age. We help them with math and reading skills, homework, or study for tests.

Worship and Bible Study:
We meet every Tuesday at 4:30 for a time of worship and Bible study. This is a great opportunity for youth groups, teams or clubs. Your group would do a devotional (15-20 minutes), if anyone is musical they can do songs, and then plan some games to play in the Roosevelt gym. We have several youth groups that faithfully come and volunteer with us and it is such a blessing. The kids love it when groups come!

Evangelism team was hard at work today installing filters from Filter of Hope in the district of Bani, Dominican Republic. Amazing tool for sharing the Gospel and providing clean drinking water. Thank you to everyone who gave to help us raise the money for these filters.

Great first day of clinics in Bani, Dominican Republic. Always amazing to see the Lord bring together so many people from across the US to form a great team.

Yesterday’s weather was relentless but we pushed through getting ready for the start of our week. Unfortunately we were unable to attend church yesterday in one of the communities but that didn’t stop us from having church next to our hotel.

Our dear brothers and sisters ministering to local churches in South Asia through the gift of clean water. These churches will use these filters to bless the communities and share the Gospel in a dark and hostile place.

We have plans to distribute and install over 300 filters this year. If you would like to donate to the purchasing of these water filters, please contact us by messenger.
