Community Foundation of Broward fundholders and other supporters recently joined us for a special “Behind-the-Scenes” visit to LifeNet4Families.

LifeNet4Families provides a host of services to help Broward residents experiencing hunger, homelessness and extreme hardship. Support for nutrition, health and housing are among the ways LifeNet4Families empowers people to overcome daunting challenges and shape a brighter future.

Our visit provided a firsthand look at how LifeNet4Families takes on the growing challenges of homelessness and housing insecurity by providing compassionate resources and pathways to greater stability for individuals and families in need.

LifeNet4Families is one of our Nonprofit Community Builders, visionary organizations with endowed charitable funds at the Community Foundation that have grown to $1 million or more. We are proud to partner with LifeNet4Families to ensure they have permanent, sustainable support from their endowed fund to fuel their critical work in our community for generations to come.

Serving with Purpose. Building Community.

This past Saturday, we were honored to welcome Radiant Worship Center for an incredible day of service at LifeNet4Families.

Their volunteers came ready to work and made a meaningful impact throughout our facility by painting, deep cleaning, organizing the clothing room, sorting donations, cleaning shared spaces, and helping refresh areas used to serve our community each day.

What made the day even more special was seeing adults, youth, and families serving side by side. Their teamwork, generosity, and willingness to give their time truly reflected the heart of community service.

Thank you, Radiant Worship Center, for choosing LifeNet4Families as a place to serve and for allowing us to be a part of Following the Blueprint. Your dedication helped create a cleaner, more organized, and welcoming environment for the individuals and families who walk through our doors.

🌧️ The rain may have changed the plans, but it didn’t change the energy!

Potential Church quickly shifted gears and helped with deep cleaning, sorting donations, and touch-up painting throughout our building.

Their positive attitude and hard work helped create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming space for our guests. 💙

Giving Back With Purpose 💈❤️

Today marked Mike’s, CEO of Kush Fades, first time volunteering with LifeNet4Families, providing free haircuts to members of our community.

He enjoyed the opportunity to connect with others, give back, and use his gift with purpose. The experience was so meaningful that Mike plans to make this a monthly commitment to serving the community.
