As a guild member, what do you get if you sell loads of raffle quilt tickets? Well, our undying gratitude of course. But also some small tokens of our appreciation, in this case thread cutters. Well done!

"What does your Quilt Guild do?" THIS! This quilt was donated to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) State Convention. It will be placed in DAV Auxiliary's Silent Auction. to raise funds for DAV. The quilt is totally hand appliqued and embroidered. AW quilted it and DW did the binding. DS stitched a sleeve on it. "Many hands make light work."

At our last meeting, E.D. created this stunning quilt from Kaffe Fassett Studio scraps that she was gifted. She just started grabbing the scraps and creating improvisational blocks. The varying gray borders really set it off. Well Done E!

At our meeting last week we had some stunning Show and Tell items. With America's 250th Anniversary coming up, it was only fitting that we had a few patriotic items shown.
