ction. Our team trains rigorously to ensure that in a mayday situation, we can respond swiftly, effectively, and with precision. From high-pressure scenarios in burning buildings to low-visibility environments, our members are equipped with the skills to perform under the most demanding conditions. Recently, Largo RIT competed in the prestigious FROG (Florida Rapid Intervention Operations Group) competition in Palm Beach, where we competed against top fire departments from across the state. Despite being a smaller team, we secured an impressive 5th place in the preliminary rounds, ultimately rising to 1st place in the finals, defeating teams from Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Delray Beach. This victory is a testament to the skill, dedication, and teamwork of our team members. We honor the sacrifices of fallen firefighters, remembering their courage and the lessons they leave behind, and we continue to strive for excellence to protect our brothers and sisters in the fire service.
