A huge thank you to the Blooming Brave Foundation for putting together and delivering Spring Family goody bags filled with fun seasonal items for our families. These thoughtful gifts bring moments of joy and normalcy to parents and children during a challenging time.

Since founding The Blooming Brave Foundation, we have delivered care packages to medically complex families across Michigan, awarded grants to families facing financial hardship and build a growing community of advocates, donors and supporters. We are a grassroots organization: We're lean, mission-driven and deeply commited to every family we serve. Our goal for this year: reach 100 families, grow our grant program, and host three signature events that fund our work. We are on our way. While Ariabella was not born medically complex. At four years old after a devastating car crash her parents have had to step into the medically complex life. Ariabella has had several brain surgeries, now has a trach and a gtube and will continue to relearn the skills she used to do daily.
We sent this care package to Grand Rapids Michigan . Inside there is self care items for mom, a journal for her thoughts and notes, a water bottle, soft snuggle toys for Ariabella, two squishy blankets to snuggle up next to eachother , a grubhub gift card to cover a meal , snack and of course a note to remind them they are not alone and can get through this. THIS is why we do what we do .
