🇺🇸 Kansas Disabled Veteran Sales Tax Exemption Cards Are Arriving! 🇺🇸
If you applied for the Kansas Disabled Veteran Sales Tax Exemption Certificate Card, keep an eye on your mailbox! Mine arrived today, and it appears the card is valid for three years before renewal.
What does this benefit do?
Eligible disabled veterans can receive an exemption from Kansas state sales tax on up to $24,000 in qualifying purchases each calendar year.
A few important notes:
✅ Applies to qualifying purchases made for personal use
✅ The card must be presented to the retailer at the time of purchase
✅ The cardholder (or an authorized household member listed on the card) must make the purchase
❌ Does not apply to motor vehicles, alcohol, to***co products, electronic ci******es, or purchases used to produce income
