Urgent help needed - Anna's story:

This sweet cat, now named Anna, was found crying at a kind woman's door several days ago. The woman brought her in and everything seemed fine until yesterday. It was noticed that Anna had been laying in the same spot for an unusually long time and when the lady went to check on her, she saw that Anna could not stand up, and would almost immediately fall over. She reached out to us asking for help. How do you say no, knowing that the cat may not survive until the morning? Our volunteers met the family, who turned the cat over to us. With it being aound 9:30 on a Saturday night, our only option was an emergency vet, where she still remains right now.

Please help us to help Anna. We can not continue to take all these cases without help from the community. We are a small group that is 100% volunteer. We don't have a facility, we don't have a vet that works with us. We work hard to raise money so that we can continue to help the cats that need it most but we are spending far more money than we are raising right now and that means that we we'll have to start saying no, we're sorry, we can't help. No one wants to do that, because how do you sleep at night knowing that something is out there suffering, and that you could have helped but you just don't have the finances to do it anymore. URGENT HELP NEEDED NOW..

We were just going to post an update on Onyx, the cat that was hit by a car and his face was shattered 6 weeks ago. He's been in medical foster being tube fed, his face is held together by the little white buttons so he cannot chew yet, his injuries were extensive but survivable and costly! Onyx is on the mend and doing well however we haven't even come close to cover his medical expenses.

Then of course we have sweet old guy Panda that we put up a fundraiser that hasn't reached its goal yet

Then we got a call 2 days ago about a kitten coming to someone's porch with an a**l prolapse, also survivable but also not cheap, the little kitten is currently at the vet and needs surgery to repair the issue.

TONIGHT...
We have a call for a cat unable to stand and crying, we can't leave her without any help but we cannot help all these cats with no support.

We have to stop intake if we cannot get these bills covered. Our team is exhausted and we want to continue to be able to make sure these cats don't suffer but cannot do that without financial support, this is URGENT because these last two cats are pending vet care, time is critical for them. 🚨 PLEASE HELP PANDA — WE ARE DESPERATE FOR A FOSTER 🚨

Panda just had ALL of his teeth removed, and despite everything he’s been through, he is already feeling so much relief. 💔❤️ He no longer has to live with the painful dental disease that was making him miserable.

But now we have a heartbreaking problem…

Panda’s foster backed out, and we have absolutely nowhere for him to go. 😭

He desperately needs a safe, quiet place to heal.

Right now, if we cannot find a foster, our only option is to return Panda to his colony.

We don’t want to do that. We fought so hard to get him the medical care he needed, and sending him back outside after having all of his teeth removed feels absolutely heartbreaking.

🙏 PLEASE, PLEASE HELP US.

We need someone who can open their home to Panda while he recovers. Even a temporary foster could make all the difference. You don’t have to commit forever — we just need someone willing to give this sweet boy a safe place to land.

❤️ Meet Buddy ❤️

Buddy is a gentle, loving tuxedo boy around 8–9 years old who has known more heartbreak than any cat should. When a new family member and dog entered his former home, Buddy was pushed aside… and ultimately left behind. Despite that, his loving spirit never dimmed.

Two very kind neighbors fed him and looked out for him while he tried to survive on the streets — far too long for a cat who just wants to belong.

Buddy adores people, gives the cutest head-butts, and soaks up every bit of affection he can get. All he wants now is a family that will never fail him again.

Some of Buddy’s favorite things include:

Buddy would do best as an only cat or possibly with one or two others with a proper & slow introduction.

Buddy is up to date on his vaccines and has tested FIV/FeLV negative, so he’s ready to start his next chapter.

**Meet Arlie!**

Arlie is a charming gentleman who found his way to safety after being found scrounging for food on the street. This sweet, quiet boy, once a homeless stray, is now ready to snuggle his way into your heart and home!

His hobbies include lounging on big windowsills or atop cozy cat trees, where he loves to spend his days watching the local wildlife outside. He’s a calm and chilled-out guy who enjoys a good cuddle session and some gentle pets. Arlie gets along well with other kitties, making him the perfect companion for any feline-friendly household.

**Meet Sonny: Your Future Furry Friend!**

Allow us to introduce you to the lovely Sonny, a friendly and gentle soul looking for a forever home. This sweet boy, born on April of 2016, is now 10 years young and ready to share his love with the right family.

Sonny has a charming quirk – his adorable white rear toes that make him even more unique! He was rescued from a difficult situation in October 2020, where he was living in a styrofoam box outside a car wash. Despite his tough start, Sonny has a heart full of love and kindness, just waiting to be shared.

These boys are off the streets tonight, inside, safe from storms coming in and the oppressive heat tomorrow..... because someone opened their home and their heart and inconvenienced themselves and thier existing cats a little bit.

So for the first time in probably ever these cats can rest peacefully, I'm sure they'll sleep well tonight!

They are the lucky ones that get to stay together and leave the hard street life behind.

RESCUE FRIENDS...PLEASE READ.

URGENT: If anyone has scanned a chip that came up unregistered in the last few days, maybe longer, please scan the cat/dog again. There was apparently an issue at 24PetWatch where registered chips were showing up in the search tools as unregistered. It happened with a chip we registered on Friday. The information was not showing up in our account and was coming up as "unregistered" in all the search tools, although 24PetWatch confirmed that the information was in their system. It also happened with a found cat. Chip said unregistered yesterday and this morning it shows that it is registered. The issue was resolved for our chip this morning as well. That makes me think it was the whole system, and not just our account. If you scanned a chip that came up as unregistered, please re-scan it.
