Did you know the Lansdowne Farmers Market is powered by volunteers?
From helping vendors load in to organizing special activities, volunteers are a huge part of what makes this market possible.
This Saturday, we're celebrating the people who help create the magic and talk about how to get more involved. Some of our local nonprofits will be joining us to share more about their mission as well!

🎢 Musician of the Week: G3 Soul
A longtime market favorite, G3 Soul brings the bluesy, feel-good sound that always seems to fit a Saturday morning perfectly. Pull up a chair, grab a snack, and enjoy the music.

🎨 Artist of the Week: Sydney Jones (.sew.city)
Sydney creates crocheted pieces, upcycled denim accessories, and colorful textile work using reclaimed materials from larger projects. Her work is creative, sustainable, and completely one-of-a-kind.

Events like this can only happen because local businesses and community partners invest in the places where they live and work. Their support helps create opportunities for artists, brings visitors to our downtown, supports local businesses, and strengthens the sense of community that makes Lansdowne so special.

Thank you for believing in this work and helping make Arts on the Avenue possible!

🌦️ Saturday is Market Day!

It might be a little wet, but nothing is stopping us from celebrating the unofficial start of summer at the Lansdowne Farmers Market.

This week, 🌽 Tuquan Acres is back, and we're also excited to welcome our new friends from MicrogreenFX, and see so many of our favorite market vendors and familiar faces.

Swing by, stock up on provisions for the holiday weekend, catch up with neighbors, and maybe make a few new friends while you're at it.

πŸ’› It's been a busy and rewarding month for LEDC.

We launched the Lansdowne Farmers Market () earlier than ever before. While every season takes time to build, we're already seeing momentum and are excited for a summer full of fresh food, local vendors, family activities, and community connections.

Delco Gives also wrapped this month, and thanks to 98 generous donors, an anonymous matching donor, and everyone who shared, encouraged, and championed our work, LEDC raised $11,448.

What was even more meaningful was the opportunity to work alongside fellow Lansdowne nonprofits in a shared effort to support one another and raise awareness about the impact of our local nonprofit sector. We're grateful to our collaborators at Friends of the Lansdowne Library (), Lansdowne Friends School (), Philadelphia Blues Society, and Spotlight Theatre (). Together, these organizations help make Lansdowne a vibrant place to live while contributing significantly to our local economy.

And then there was Arts on the Avenue ()... While we're still compiling attendance and economic impact data, one thing is already clear: the streets were filled with smiling people.

Our staff is tired. Many of our volunteers are too. But we're also incredibly grateful.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, attended an event, made a donation, shared a post, served on a committee, sponsored a program, or simply attended. We're looking forward to a wonderful summer together. πŸ’›

What a day. πŸ’›

Thank you to our incredible staff, dedicated volunteers, talented artists and musicians, generous sponsors, community partners, local businesses, and every single person who came out to celebrate Arts on the Avenue with us this weekend.

For one beautiful day, Lansdowne Avenue was filled with music, creativity, laughter, dancing kids, amazing food, conversations with artists, and thousands of moments that reminded us why community arts events matter so much.

This festival takes months of planning, dozens of volunteers, supportive partners, and a supportive community. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make the 2026 Arts on the Avenue Festival such a success.

We had SO much fun, and we hope you did too!

Please keep supporting the artists, musicians, restaurants, shops, and organizations that make Lansdowne such a vibrant creative community all year long.

And finally, thank you to our presenting sponsor, Visit Delco, for helping make this event possible.

Until next year. 🎨🎢
