Thank you Jeffrey Lee Miller for the invite and to all the Brothers of Concordia Lodge No. 13 for your kind hospitality and wonderful degree work. Thank you also to Tim Pickering Brian T Mattocks and Lee Teetsel for accompanying me. Brothers,

Lansdowne Lodge No. 711 will be holding our stated meeting tomorrow, May 8th, at 7:30 p.m. at Lansdowne Lodge No. 711 (dinner at 6:30 p.m.). This month we will have a presentation on biblical references in the third degree.

We are also honored to announce that the Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Academy of Masonic Knowledge, WM Brian Mattocks of Cassia Mt. Horeb Lodge No. 273, will be joining us to talk about his brand new book, “A Mason’s Work”. All Master Masons are welcome to attend.

“A Mason’s Work” presents a seven-step system for applying the tools of the Craft to the work of becoming. If you are looking to strengthen your Lodge or yourself as a Mason, please check it out.

For more information on Brian and “A Mason’s Work” and to order copies of the book for yourself, your friends and your Lodge please visit, https://amasonswork.com.

I am in awe of what was accomplished yesterday. The inaugural Masonic Mile was a massive success! Over $30,000 (correct my math if I’m wrong Steve) was raised for Help For Our Heroes. Freemasonry was on full display in Aston. What really impressed me was how many contributed so much. Every lodge in District 6 along with our Brothers in the Mighty 5th, DE and beyond contributed to making this event a smashing success! From setting up to tearing down, to donating resources and time. I started to list out all of the contributions that everyone made and realized it may take an afternoon to read them all. Bravo Steve Bush and WM Edwin Santiago on a wonderful event! Bravo community for showing up and showing out for a great cause! Bravo Brothers on showing what Freemasons can do if we work together! I am so proud to be a Mason!!!
