There is peace that comes when we stop trying to force our own plans and trust God’s purpose. Surrender is not weakness. It is faith. It is believing that God’s will is greater than our wants, His timing is better than our schedule, and His wisdom exceeds our understanding.⁣

We had a wonderful time dining, laughing, and fellowshipping together. These moments of friendship are always good for the soul. They remind us to slow down, enjoy one another’s company, and cherish the connections that enrich our lives.

The LaGrange (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated mourns the loss of Charter and Active Platinum Member Mary Frances Anderson, who passed away on June 1, 2026.

Mary Frances Anderson retired as a Media Specialist with the Meriwether County Board of Education after more than 33 years of dedicated service, concluding her career at Manchester Middle School. She was also a former member of the Meriwether County Retired Educators Association and the Fayette County Retired Educators Association.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Her legacy of friendship, service, education, and community impact will be cherished by all who knew her.

The chapter extends heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this time of bereavement.
