Final Day of AOWA’s Basic Septic Installers Class!

We’re getting all the final information in before test day! Today’s topics include OSHA requirements, business ethics, rules and regulations, and other key information every installer needs to know before entering the field.

We also had a great day yesterday hearing from guest speakers from the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board and with the Alabama Public Health. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping educate the next generation of licensed installers.

Now it’s time to get busy with the practice test and put all that learning to work. Good luck to everyone as they prepare for exam day!

Day 1 of Basic Installers Class is in the books!

We had a full house today with attendees from across Alabama, Georgia, and Florida eager to learn the ins and outs of becoming a licensed septic installer in the State of Alabama. From regulations and site requirements to the step-by-step process of completing a septic system installation, participants spent the day building the knowledge and skills needed to help protect public health and our environment.

It's always encouraging to see so many individuals investing in their education and the future of Alabama's onsite wastewater industry. The willingness to learn and grow helps ensure our industry continues to provide safe, effective, and professional wastewater solutions for communities across the state.

A special thank you to the Home Builders Association of Alabama for allowing us to use one of their classrooms for this training. We greatly appreciate their support of workforce development and continuing education within Alabama's wastewater industry.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated today. We appreciate your dedication and look forward to another great day of learning tomorrow!

Thanks to all that helped make this happen! Giving back is what’s it’s all about & we and the home owner are forever grateful.
