Full circle moments just hit different.

Back in 2022, stepped into what was then Confidence Camp and taught her very first body butter class with our girls… and now, she’s back, pouring into a new group at DreamHer Camp Preview Day this Saturday

We are honored to recognize Jeneba Barrie as a 2026 HER Award recipient. A former prosecutor turned criminal defense attorney, Jeneba has spent over a decade using her voice to stand for equity and protect the most vulnerable.

Beyond the courtroom, she is a devoted mother of three and a woman who believes deeply in the power of self-care and balance.

This is what it looks like to lead with both strength and intention. 🌸

What an amazing day we had serving our community on MLK Day

When you lead with heart, the right opportunities always find you. This year, we had the honor of serving a mom who pours so much into her community that she often overlooks herself. Over time, her media room had turned into a storage space for both community work and everyday life.

Together, we cleared, sorted, organized, and reimagined the space, creating a room she can now come home to with a peace of mind.

This day would not have been possible without our incredible partners Michaella Ramler, Vanessa Hall ,Introspect Photography & Video, and the dedicated volunteers from our signature programs and the broader community. And to our couch donor, thank you for giving in love. This couch added such a special touch and will be deeply loved and cherished by this family.

Our Year at a Glance

From serving great-grandmother who is the primary guardian to her great grandson alongside our Walmart partners at the start of the year, to welcoming 9 interns in February, this year has been full, meaningful, and deeply impactful. We celebrated 10 years of ConqHer with our annual soiree, facilitated my first Women in Business session with Southern Social Collective, and cheered on 6 girls who completed our Shine Program.

We hosted what many called the BEST Girls STEAM Camp in DFW DreamHer Camp, paused to rest, reflect, and breathe in July, and kicked it back in full gear in August by providing full school supply list along with uniforms and shoes to 19 families. We showed up with intention at our new partner Big Brothers Big Sisters event, launched a new wave of Shine participants, and hosted the BEST GirlsGiving we’ve done so far for women in leadership.

We closed the year with our 3rd Annual Toys for Tots event, reminding us why community will always be at the heart of what we do.

So much more happened in and between these moments, but these highlights tell the story of a year marked by growth, service, partnership, and purpose.
