VENDOR SPOTLIGHT - Rememories: Phyllis Bambeck
Phyllis Bambeck is a forager, a world traveler, a crafter, and a maker. (And that’s probably just scratching the surface). She is also a longtime LEAF vendor along with her son Daniel.
The jams she sells are the epitome of local: made from blackberries from her yard, cherries from her neighbor’s yard, and foraged fruits. She just adds sugar – no pectin necessary.
When she was four, Phyllis learned to sew on a treadle sewing machine, and she’s been sewing ever since. She sells handmade aprons, totes, and quilts in addition to crocheted items.
An extensive traveler –seven continents, all fifty states! – Phyllis has called Cleveland home for over 60 years.
