The McCaslin Lions Club was honored to welcome 27B2 District Governor Mike Milbach to our June general meeting. During his visit, we celebrated several important milestones:
• Installed new member Jamie.
• Presented the Milestone Chevron Award and Knights of Sight Awards to several members.
• Honored Rollie Fisher with the distinguished Melvin Jones Award.

Miley Godin will be attending UW Eau Claire; Destiny Dudek will be going to Nicolet Area Tech College for Nursing; Westin Bohl will study welding at the Advanced Welding Institute. The McCaslin Lions club sponsored 30 children from White Lake and Wabeno today for a fishing expedition at Silver Moon Springs. The cold and wind didn't deter these kids from getting their limit!!

Today, 15 Lions Club members cleaned up 2 miles of Highway 32 to help prepare our community for summer visitors. Please dispose of trash in proper receptacles, not along the roadside.

On May 6, 2026, McCaslin Lion member MaryEllen Greiten presented a scholarship to Suring graduate HaileyBo Pecanas to support her nursing studies at NWTC.
The McCaslin Lions Club is proud to recognize and encourage graduates pursuing higher education and will award scholarships to graduates from Wabeno and White Lake in the coming weeks.

We are proud to provide this service to children in our community

Thank You to our Local Lions Clubs

Our local Lions Clubs, Wabeno Lions and McCaslin Lions have once again, generously donated to the Wabeno Elementary Reading Program. Each club has donated $1500 which is used to provide one free book to every Wabeno Elementary student in 4-year-old kindergarten through fifth grade. The donations are used to provide a free book to each child who attends the Little Logrollers Daycare as well, supporting families in building reading habits early at home.

Over time, the generous donations of the local Lions Clubs have provided each Wabeno Elementary student with a small personal library collection of self-selected books. Many thanks to the Wabeno Lions and the McCaslin Lions Clubs for your continued support of literacy in our community.

The McCaslin Lions are pleased to announce our recent contributions to four local projects:

- Christian Food Pantry: $2,475.00 for new carpeting (presented by Lion Patti Bauman).
- Lakewood Pickleball Club: $1,000.00.
- Northern Archers: $3,740.00 toward a new pavilion.
- Town of Townsend: $7,500.00 toward the construction of pickleball courts at Festival Park.

These contributions are made possible by the dedication of our members, who volunteer their time at the Annual Lakes Country Arts and Crafts Show held on the first Saturday of August, as well as our various brat fries at Lakewood SuperValu.
