“Dear Ela soccer families,
As a Director of Coaching, I always tell our players that dreams in soccer are built though hard work and dedication, humility, consistency, and love for the game.
Years ago, back in Argentina, I had the opportunity to meet Jose “Flaco” Lopez. Through his old coach my friend Javier Kloz, at the time, It was simply another game with a talented young player who loved the soccer. Today, seeing him reach the highest level and represent Argentina along with someone named “Leo Messi” on the world stage is incredibly special. This is a reminder to all of our players: greatness starts somewhere. Every training session matters. Every game matters. Stay humble, work hard, trust the process, and never stop believing in your dreams. You never know where soccer can take you. Proud to have shared the field with him and even more proud to use stories like this to inspire the next generation at Ela Soccer Club.”
